Vic Hill Opens 2025 Campaign in Spring Nationals Doubleheader

Vic Hill and his #1 team made the trip to both I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tennessee and Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee on April 18-19 for a pair of Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series battles.  On Friday night at I-75, a $10,053 top prize was up for grabs and 40 Super Late Model competitors were in the pit area.  Vic unfortunately narrowly missed out on the 53-lap feature after running sixth in his heat race and fourth in his B-Main.

At the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway on Saturday evening, a $21,000 winner's check was on the line in the annual running of the Lil' Bill Corum Memorial.  Vic knocked down the fifth quickest time in Group A during the qualifying session before placing second in his heat race behind only winner Mike Marlar.  In the 75-lapper, Vic started the race from the inside of the fifth row and ultimately wound up ninth in the final finishing order.  Full results from both weekend battles can be accessed online at www.southernnationalsseries.com.
