Sixth Place Effort for Vic Hill Racing with Southern Nationals Tour

Next up on the racing calendar for the Vic Hill Racing (VHR) team was a stop at the sprawling Wythe Raceway on Saturday, July 12.  The Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series rolled into the picturesque Rural Retreat, Virginia speedplant and a $10,053 winner's check was up for grabs.

Following a lengthy rain delay prior to the qualifying session, Vic Hill laid down the fourth fastest lap in Group A during time trials to earn the rights to the inside of the fourth row for the start of the 40-lap feature.  The Mosheim, Tennessee ace then battled hard for a potential top five performance in the contest before landing in the sixth spot at the checkers behind only victor Chris Madden, Chris Ferguson, Garrett Smith, Jimmy Owens, and Kaede Loudy.  Complete results can be located online at www.southernnationalsseries.com.
