Vic Hill Racing Battles SAS Foes in Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher

Vic Hill and his #1 team returned to dirt-slinging action on Thursday night, September 17 at the nearby Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee.  The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presided over the 'Scott Bloomquist Memorial Scorcher' and a $12,018 first place prize was up for grabs.  Vic stopped the clock tenth fastest overall during the qualifying session, but was unfortunately caught up in a heat race incident that dropped him to a seventh place effort.

The Mosheim, Tennessee ace was scheduled to start nineteenth on the grid in the 50-lap headliner, but damage from the heat race incident forced Vic to scratch for the evening.  Full results from last night's SAS Series battle at "The Gap" can be accessed online by clicking on www.sasdirt.com.
