Pierce Quadruples Down in the Desert; Wins Title

Bobby Pierce raced to four $11,000 Super Late Model wins with his Vic Hill Race Engines No. 32 Super Late Model on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday during the second-and-third rounds of the 18th annual Wild West Shootout at FK Rod Ends Vado (N.M.) Speedway Park. (Terry Page image)

With the quad of victories, he was also crowned the $3,000 miniseries champion.

Meanwhile, Austin Theiss picked up the Super Late Model victory at Texas' Big O' Speedway on Saturday, Jan. 13.
